Fish Meat Lettuce Soup

  • 200g fresh fish meat – marinated with 1 tsp soy sauce, 2 tsp sesame oil, 1 egg white, 1/2 tsp white pepper & 1/2 cornflour – then mix well
  • 1/4 iceberg lettuce – shredded
  • 10 matchsticks ginger
  • 3 litres water
  • Salt to taste


Using a teaspoon scoop the fish meat onto a plate, set aside. Place the fish meat & ginger into a hot pot of boiling water. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, then add the lettuce. Simmer for a further 2 minutes. Then give it a good stir & add salt to taste.
